Our mission is to improve learning by building capacity in schools, families, and communities through applied research and development. Over the past nine years, young people participating in Adobe Youth Voices have created vibrant, compelling media pieces to illuminate issues they care about and inspire change. Adobe Foundation has collaborated with talented partners to support youth media on a global scale. Adobe Youth Voices thrived in classrooms and in afterschool programs, in high-tech and in low-tech settings, due to the extensive network of national and international organizations, and the dedicated educators participating. Innovative Strategies is an online database of promising programs and practices in the workforce development system that effectively addresses the needs of youth with disabilities. Professional Development provides you with the knowledge of how to determine the types of professional development you may specifically require and how you can bring professional development to your organization. Leadership provides information to assist you in determining ways that you can incorporate youth development and leadership further into your programs and hear from young people with and without disabilities on their ideas on how it can be accomplished. Workforce Development provides you with the skills that are needed in order to navigate the workforce development system and understand the legislation that surrounds it. This brief describes how administrators and policymakers can use the concepts of youth development and leadership in developing and administering programs that serve all youth and activities specifically geared toward youth with disabilities.
